Registered by Central Bank of Russia on November 28, 1996, the Bank has license for banking operations with legal entities and individuals in ruble and foreign currencies (N3307).
From 1996 until 2005 the Bank’s name was ZAO “First Shipping Bank” and it was located in Arkhangelsk. In the beginning of 2006 the Bank changed its name to ZAO “Profibank” and was moved to St Petersburg. In August 2006, Finnish Sampo Bank became the main shareholder. In January 2007 Danske Bank A/S bought Sampo Bank and became a single shareholder. In June 2007 the Bank has got a new name – ZAO Danske Bank. In December 2015 the name was changed to just Danske Bank.
The Bank’s base capital is BRUB 4.5.
